The location, setting, elegance, service, and pleasantness of the staff made for a delightful stay.

Excellent location, very nice ande large rooms, excellent breakfast ( the best on our Kastilia Tour

While checking out, another guest ( from Great Britain ) was extraordinary upset about the worst dinner he had all over Spain.

  • Couple

Excellent location, a focal point of the area. Close to many walks, wonderful view from rooms.

Breakfast was ok but not great

  • Older travelers

Excellent position, close to the old town. A former monastery, it has the feel of cloistered luxury. Lovely wide corridors, large public rooms and bedrooms. Delightful views.

Our shower did not work. Upon leaving, we mentioned this to the check-out clerk and he was quite dismissive and suggested that we had not been operating it properly. Room 237 by the way. It's probably still not working because I suspect he did not believe us! Actually even if that were the case it is still no way to react.

Location for Cuenca - perfect position and easy walk into town.

Evening meal very good but expensive as was breakfast

  • Older travelers
    8.8

The location is fantastic and the dinner we had was delicious with efficient and friendly service.

The check-in and out employee (same person) seemed to be a bit overwhelmed and not overly friendly even though it was not very busy at either time.

  • Older travelers

location is top! great views of the medieval city

we were disappointed taht the swimmingpool was closed and that there was no place to sit outside to relax, only the bar.

  • Older travelers
    8.8

Beautiful location, unique building - previously a Catholic seminary for training priests, friendly service and beautifully decorated in a classical style.

The hotel policy allows non residents to use the public areas of the hotel without restriction. This includes the cloister, as a result on occasions this beautiful quiet area can be taken over by large groups, leaving no room for residents.the management should review their policy to protect the interests of their guests.

    Large Rooms

Rather tired. In need of update. From experience of a stay in 2010, dinner is expensive and not that good.

  • Family with children
    7.0

Staff very friendly. We were warmly greeted by all the staff we met along the way in the morning. The surrounding landscape is just breathtaking.

Room was a bit worn out. Wall paper needs repair. Windows were not very clean, which is a shame for the gorgeous view. Bed was very small for two people. We saw rooms with larger beds so just wonder is we got the small bed because of the discount thru Booked.net.

  • Couple
    10.0

Elegant room, full facility, great view, atmospheric courtyard and corridors, bar with great variety of drinks. Most staff members speak good English - that's very exceptional in Spain.

  • Older travelers
    7.4

Beautiful scenery of Cuenca and a castle

We stayed there on Sunday, and there were no activities or music in the castle. It's a great place, but it could be made even better

  • Older travelers
    7.0

The location and the view is unique

Parking facilities very poor Restaurant is expensive and the price / quality is not in line. Maintenance of the building and rooms is poor, toilet not working (repaired by myself) heating in bathroom was very hot and not possible to close, airconditioning not working while temperature outsite was 30 degrees (even in october).

  • Older travelers
    10.0

Beautiful location and very peaceful. The bridge connecting the hotel to the old city was a great help as walking back was long and quite a climb.

  • Older travelers
    9.6

Wonderful place, very very friendly staff at reception desk, excellent breakfeast, very close to historical centre of the city
